Diaper rash, baby’s buttocks when irritated

Causes of Diaper Rash

How to relieve baby’s red bum?
To treat diaper rash, let baby’s bottom to air whenever possible. Otherwise, change diapers often (every hour) and do not tighten to avoid friction. At each exchange, the skin is gently washed with lime liniment, oil , and properly dried. All irritants should be banned. Diaper rash: when to see a doctor?
As recommended by the health insurance, you should consult a doctor quickly if your child is under 6 weeks. Ditto if your baby has a fever or signs of secondary infection (blisters, pustules, papules, pus, scabs, blisters, red bumps …). If you find a white deposit in baby’s mouth, if irritation persists beyond 3 days despite your care, or if you notice that your child is losing weight or eating less, it should also be consulted.
